As a mother of three children each attending a different Holmdel school, Doreen understands, first hand, the tremendous value and benefits of the town's formidable academic program. Her buyer mentality however has taught her that to maintain educational excellence in this growing market, there is always a compelling need for new technologies, enhanced learning systems and awareness-based programs. As a result of that mentality, Doreen has made it a personal mission to drive fundraising initiatives that provide the resources necessary to fund and best achieve those program objectives. She has held key fundraising positions for the schools' parent groups and has served as Chair of the Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence. HFEE is an organization committed to raising the bar of education through grant programs and enhanced learning tools for World Language, the Arts, Literacy, Science, Technology and Athletics benefiting all district students. In addition to being a current member of the Holmdel Chamber of Commerce, Doreen also played an active role as a religious education teacher at The Church of St. Catharine, one of Holmdel's fine churches and served on the Women's Heart Fund, a committee of the Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation charged with the mission to educate women in Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex counties about the importance of heart health and to raise funds for heart programs, services, and technology at Meridian Health.
